Areas of Practice:  Patents, Searching, and Client Counseling.

Mr. Du prepares and prosecutes patent applications in the mechanical and electromechanical arts, which includes procurement of U.S. and foreign patents.

Mr. Du has extensive experience a range of technical areas including biomedical technologies (e.g., orthopedic devices, medica imaging, and patient treatment and monitoring), and computer-based technologies (e.g., Blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), cryptography, databases, and media streaming).

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Du gained more than six years experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications, providing client counseling, and conducting searches at intellectual property firms in the Washington, D.C. area. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Du worked as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office in the biomedical arts.
